London has more than 20,000 restaurants, pubs and bars. The choice is overwhelming, and online ratings do not help. Most score above 4.5. The bad reviews get buried, and complaints stay between you and me. The next person walks in and finds out the hard way.
We have all wished, at some point, for a friend who actually knew the places worth going to. Someone to spare us the research, the potential bad experience, and the money. If a wasted plan bothers you as much as it bothers me, you are in the right place. I am out, on average, somewhere new three times a week. I have done the filtering. Charlie is that friend.
